  40.     I noticed using QuickTime v2.01 that there is studdering on the
  41. audio on the GUS since I got the gus411.zip (or something similar) off
  42. of the CA gus site (~3mb file).  I notice the upgrade added UltraSound
  43. Configuration App in Win.  Nice.  But there is this new DMA buffer setting.
  44. I realize now (and have rectified my problem) that setting it to a val
  45. above the minimum 512 bytes causes studdering.  Why is this?  Should it not
  46. REDUCE studdering?  At the min 512-byte setting, all is ok and as it was
  47. before.  Any comments?
